What's Involved?
NOTE: If your cat has significant areas of matted fur, please book a de-matting appointment. A lion cut / full body shave is suited to elderly cats who no longer groom themselves or cats with chronic skin conditions. Suitable for cats with coat in good condition with fur that is well kept. If your cat has matted fur, please book one of our de-matting services. A lion clip is a classic grooming style where the body is shaved short while the head, mane, feet and the end of the tail are left fluffy — giving your cat their very own little lion look! 🦁 This style can be a great option for long-haired cats who are prone to matting, excessive shedding or difficulty maintaining a long coat. Removing the bulk of the body coat can make ongoing grooming and maintenance much easier. The head and neck are left full to create the characteristic fluffy mane, while the legs are trimmed to leave fluffy “boots” around the feet. The tail is shaved while leaving a fluffy pompom at the tip. A lion clip can also be an appropriate option when a cat has severe or extensive matting that cannot be safely brushed out. In these cases, removing the matted coat can provide significant relief and allow a healthy coat to grow back. The exact finish will vary from cat to cat depending on their coat condition and temperament during grooming. Cancellation Policy
1. Animal Temperament & Safety The safety and wellbeing of our nurses, clients, and pets is our highest priority. If a service cannot be completed due to an animal becoming overly stressed, aggressive, or posing a safety risk to the nurse, owner, or the pet itself, the appointment may be concluded at the attending nurse’s discretion. It is the responsibility of the pet's owner to be aware of their pet’s temperament, handling tolerance, and stress levels prior to booking a home visit as our minimum visit fee of $50 will still apply if the service cannot be completed safely. 2. Service Area Our mobile veterinary nursing services are provided within a defined service area including Gold Coast & Logan Suburbs. Bookings made outside this area may be cancelled or incur an additional travel fee, which will be discussed prior to appointment if required. 3. Cancellations & Rescheduling We require a minimum of 12 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 12 hours’ notice may incur a $25 late cancellation fee.
